I have been a JD Hawkins fan since day one with his first book, Booty Call. When I started reading Confessions I was happily surprised to see how much he has grown as an author. This book was so much fun to read because JD is one funny guy and his humor is always evident in his books.If you don't love the gorgeous, manwhore Nate then something is wrong with you. Nate is the guy you secretly want even though he is the bad boy that your Mama warned you about. But his bad boy days are numbered when he needs a date for a business weekend function and out of desperation asks Jesse, his best friend Kyle's sister, who he has know since she was a kid. Well she is not a kid anymore!! She is a sexy, beautiful woman that he tries like hell to ignore the feelings he has for her, but after the business weekend, he can't get her out of his mind, and so begins their secret hookups! Secret because they are both afraid that Kyle will kill Nate if he finds out he is seeing his sister! You know how protective older brothers can be!
Their story grabs you in and I didn't put this book down until the last page. It was funny, sad, hot, sexy and everything in-between. The final confession was a killer and I think I might have shed a tear or two because of the beautiful sincerity in the words said by Nate but written by JD! Bravo to this author for giving us a really great story. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance. Did I mention that the sex was really hot! Yep, it is! It will melt your panties for sure! Go buy it today!

Started this book today and finished it within hours. This is my first JD book, and I can't wait to go read his pervious work!! why you need to buy this book.... This book is everything... Hot, sad, funny, sexy, and everything in between! I love it! Who knew I was such a fan of best friend / like a sister to me romance?! It totally makes sense though!
Nate - the bad boy, parents are welloff in the industry, he's popular in the industry as an agent, and he has his own vlog.
Jessie- 4 years younger than her bother and best friend. Had a crush on Nate since she was 7, and hides it well or so she thought.
Kyle - mates best friend, Jessie's over productive brother, not much else to say about him other than he's a lawyer and I hope there is a book about him next. They need a 4th!
Lorelei - Jessie's roommate. When I think of her I think of "those abs though". When really thinking of Nate's abs!
Confession of a Dirty Girl I just fell so hard for Bad Boy Nate and Jessie!! A perfect couple that has just taken residence in my heart!!! Which is already full of so much love for this book!! I just spent the last 3 hours (it's 230am) with Bad Boy Nate and the ever charming and feisty Jessie, and I didn't want it to end! You ever fall in love with characters, couples...and you just want their story to continue on forever and ever?? Well, yeah. That is how I'm left feeling. No cliffy. Just one of the happiest of happily ever afters that made my goosebumps have goosebumps!!! Is that spoilery?! Oh dear! I hope not!!
Our Bad Boy Nate is a player. A womanizer. That's putting it mildly. Hooking up with girls is like a sport to him. A game. One that he is extremely great at. But he's also an amazing man. He's sweet, thoughtful, protective, and completely loyal. And then we have his best friend Kyle and his younger sister Jessie. They are a trio. Since childhood. So what happens when little sister hooks up with a very overbearing and protective brother's best friend??? I think you can see where I'm going with this!
What I loved about Jessie and Nate was their carefree relationship. No strings. Just sex. And holy hell. It's off the charts hot!! These two REALLY know how to....connect. In every way possible lol!! I don't want to give away any of the story. So just trust me when I say read it!!
I know I sound like a broken record everytime I finish reading a book by JD Hawkins and I say "this is his BEST book yet!!" Well, I'm going to say it again. THIS IS HIS BEST BOOK YET!!! Which only shows strength in writing. And creating these new stories for us. I love watching authors grow. And I can't wait to see what JD gives us next!! I'd also like to add a little disclaimer. People know that JD is a friend. And I don't want this to EVER overshadow or create doubt when I review one of his books, because if I didn't like it, I simply wouldn't waste my time in writing a review for it. So know that when I review a book that I absolutely love, it comes from the heart. And everything else is pushed aside. They aren't friends. They are authors. And as a reviewer it is my "job" to showcase the books that I love. With that being said, GO AND 1-CLICK THE HELL OUT OF THIS NOW!!
I save my five star ratings for those novels that really earn it, that stand above the others. This one earned its five stars. Interesting and unique story line, well developed and believable characters. Read it in one sitting.
I gotta say, this was my first book of yours and I am Hooked! Loved the storyline, loved the characters( specially Jessie), loved the sexiness, loved it all. I'm searching for another book now that I hope will be just as intriguing!
This book was recommended to me by a friend. I'm so glad she did. JD wrote an amazing story about finding the ones. Nate and Jessie are by far not perfect but they capture you from the start. Nate is the resident bad boy and Jessie is your typical girl that falls for the bad boy and wants to tame him. I loved everything about this book and I highly recommend. Will be checking out whatever else JD writes.
